Pioneer Village
Pioneer Village consists of a small group of homes surrounded by forest. It's situated just down the road from Bijou Community Park, which has covered picnic areas, BBQs and plenty of hiking trails. The homes are located just a short walk from Lake Tahoe Community College, an ideal spot for education, theater and sports.
There are three elementary schools that serve Pioneer Village: Bijou Community School, Tahoe Valley Elementary, and Sierra House Elementary. South Lake Tahoe also has one middle school (South Tahoe Middle School) and one high school (South Tahoe High School.)
