Located right off Highway 50, with easy access to shopping, skiing and other outdoor activities, Pinewild is a gated lakefront condominium community. Built in the late '70s, it features its own private beach, buoys, and a large pier shared by all the homeowners.
Additionally, it offers a large tennis court, some covered parking for owners, and plenty of guest parking.
Most of the units feature three bedrooms, and some offer incredible lakeviews from their living areas.
There are three schools that serve the Pinewild neighborhood: George Whittell High School, Kingsbury Middle School and Zephyr Cove Elementary. Combined, the three schools have an estimated 600 students and 70 teachers. In August of 2008, Whittell will consolidate with Kingsbury Middle School to become a campus for grades 7 through 12.
In 2005, Whittell was designated as "exemplary", one of only five Nevada schools to earn this honor.
