North Upper Truckee 1
This part of North Upper Truckee is located about three miles south of the 'Y' along Lake Tahoe Boulevard. The area is east of Fallen Leaf Lake and west of Washoe Meadows State Park. It's really just around the corner from the city of South Lake Tahoe, but still away from it all. This is your gateway to Desolation Valley with hiking trails and several small lakes along the way.
This is strictly a residential neighborhood with larger lot sizes and newer construction. Most homes have views of mountains, forest and meadows, with direct access to trails that lead to Fallen Leaf Lake and into the Desolation Wilderness. The Wilderness is 63,960 acres of sub -alpine and alpine forest, granite peaks and glacially-formed valleys and lakes.
