Hidden Woods
Hidden Woods is an upscale neighborhood, located in close proximity to Cave Rock. It offers large homes on substantial lots with incredible views, and access to national forest service lands. Changes are being made to the area, which will include a gated entry for homeowners, and a new entance and exit access to the highway.
All utilities are underground, which definitely helps maintain the incredible beauty of this area. The properties in Hidden Woods are also extremely well-maintained, which sets this area apart from other neighborhoods.
There are three schools that serve the Hidden Woods neighborhood: George Whittell High School, Kingsbury Middle School and Zephyr Cove Elementary. Combined, the three schools have an estimated 600 students and 70 teachers. In August of 2008, Whittell will consolidate with Kingsbury Middle School to become a campus for grades 7 through 12.
In 2005, Whittell was designated as "exemplary", one of only five Nevada schools to earn this honor.
