Elks Club
Elks Club is located just across Highway 50 from the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. You'll find mostly newer homes, built in the '80s, '90s and '00s, between Highway 50 and Pioneer Trail. The homes feature larger lot sizes, many with forest and mountain views. This is just a hop, skip and a jump to the golf course and Upper Truckee River, which offers recreational opportunities year-round. This is definitely an up-and-coming neighborhood.
There are three elementary schools that serve Elks Club: Bijou Community School, Tahoe Valley Elementary, and Sierra House Elementary. South Lake Tahoe also has one middle school (South Tahoe Middle School) and one high school (South Tahoe High School.)
